Bravery was never a thing that rated highly in Rumpelstiltskin’s worldview. By his estimations, most people who called themselves ‘brave’ got themselves dead pretty soon after. Coward was not an honourable title, but since everyone who had branded him so was long dead and gone, he considered himself the winner of that little argument.

Belle was brave, and he adored that about her. Well, he adored her , however horrified he was to admit it, and her bravery was such a part of her.

Oh my holy heck… I just watched OUAT That Still Small Voice again.  I’d been putting it off because the episode was such a tear jerker, but I knew there was a great Rumplestiltskin scene in it. So I finally watched it again…and whew! … *fans self*  That imp looks good in blue!  

Such amazing close-ups of him in this one too. I couldn’t get a really good screen shot of him in the shirt,  but it gave me an excuse to watch the scene over and over .. >_> 

I like watching scenes with him from before Skin Deep, knowing what we know now about his broken heart… Like how this scene started with the camera pointed at a window with no curtains covering it at all. Might have not even been intentional, but my shipper heart will find these little things and cherish them.  I know you all understand.
